  7. Start 'Makers of the 20th Century' by double clicking on the 
  8. 'Makers of the 20th Century' icon.
  9.  
  10. If you do not already have QuickTime 2.1 and Sound Manager 3.0 
  11. (or later versions) you should install these extensions from 
  12. the 'Put in System Folder' folder by copying them to your 
  13. Macintosh's System Folder, then re-boot your machine to allow 
  14. the changes to take effect.
  15.  
  16. We recommend strongly that you do not have any other applications
  17. running at the same time as your 'Makers of the 20th Century' CD-ROM.
